Water Tanks comprise a vital role in the primary potable water systems in use today. Consequently, it is essential that levels in these tanks remain at consistent and safe levels to provide adequate pressure and system capacity. Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) at an elevated tank transmit the water level and provide the value to the Info-Scan system to be used as the primary well and/or pump control criteria. The water level can be monitored and the fill level set through Info-Scan to ensure the tank is always maintained at the correct levels. High service, well, and booster pump operation is then controlled as needed to maintain level and pressure in the tank according to peak capacity determined by the customer.
