There are numerous types of collection systems, many of which utilize lift stations. Each system presents unique control, reporting, and monitoring demands. Our Info-Scan solutions can monitor and control any aspect of your collection system including remote lift stations. For the remote installations, information is collected from a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) equipped with one of our MicroScan controllers, and transmitted to the Info-Scan base system normally via wireless data transmission. A number of customizable alarms may be set to notify operators of critical conditions such as pump failure and impending spills. The alarm is sent out via a page, text, email, or all three to notify designated personnel of the problem. Additionally, run-time and flow-through lift and pumping stations can be monitored to determine the load capacity of each station. This data is available for reporting requirements required by regulatory agencies and can also be utilized in planning future system expansions. All installations are designed using the customer's unique requirements.
