Intelligent Buildings Hot Water Reset

The Hot Water Supply Temperature Reset program computes a hot water supply temperature set point which is inversely proportional to the outside air temperature and controls the hot water supply temperature to this set point either through a hardware controller or by Direct Digital Control. The temperature is maintained at the lowest value that will satisfy the heating requirements of the facility or facilities.

All parameters are changeable by the operator for each hot water system under control. Each of the parameters is an analog point.

The value of these points and other parameters associated with the control scheme can be viewed in the History application. This historical information can be utilized in determining usage profiles.
